The Challenge
In the heart of Vivid Sydney, a festival celebrating innovation and creativity, Dell aimed to provide a unique AR experience to amplify their presence. They sought an innovative solution that would harmoniously blend the talents of local Sydney artists with cutting-edge technology, resulting in an unforgettable engagement for the festival's attendees.

The Solution
Created by Catalyst stepped in, pioneering an interactive AR lens in collaboration with TikTok for the @dellanz Youniverse activation. Inside the venue, attendees could scan a QR code which opened this AR lens on TikTok, plunging them into their chosen 'Youniverse': Digital Fashion or Manga Cityscape. With artwork masterfully crafted by local artists Jeswri and Andrew Archer, users were mesmerised by the blend of art and augmented reality. Advanced segmentation techniques and parallax effects added to the 3D depth, making the experience even more immersive. The TikTok team was left awe-struck, labelling it as one of the most visually captivating effects they've encountered.
